SHOW GRATITUDE TO THE LADY GAIA, --- OUR MOTHER EARTH: become a loving warrior for Her, --- allow your lawn to go back to native grasses to provide first food for the bees, (especially allow white clover with their sweet scented little blossoms and dandelions), encourage others to let their lawns go back to native grasses too, feed the wild birds all years long and squirrels, feed stray cats and dogs and rescue them if you think they're homeless, or you see them hurt, rescue wildlife too, put out trays of porous rocks that are wet so butterflies can drink from them (butterflies & moths can't drink from deep water) . Rescue worms on sidewalks after it rains by putting them back in/on the earth in the shade, rescue frogs after it rains by putting them under bushes or near natural water sources. Take spiders outside by putting a glass over them and sliding a piece of cardboard under the glass, --- a method that works well for taking mice outside to a field too. Pick up litter and dispose of it properly, plant trees and flowers, put out a bird bath. Volunteer at your local animal shelter: walk dogs, comfort dogs and cats who were rescued from abusive situations, --- socialize them by brushing them and taking to them, allow them to lap sit. Take in pregnant cats so their kittens can be born inside and socialize with humans, so they can be pets rather than ferals, then find good homes for them (not just any home). Harm no living thing, if you can help it, as much as you can help it. Always brake for animals. Watch out for possums; possums are the good guys; one possum can eat 5,000 ticks per year; possums do not get rabies; their body temperatures are too low; we have rabies vaccine because of possums; they are not vicious; they're shy, when frightened they show their teeth and hiss. Don't ever spray poisons anywhere, --- use natural bug deterrents': vinegar, bleach (which dissipates in 24 hours if you pour it on the ground.)
